Parents' Association
Who are members of the Association?
We are a group of parents who organise events to promote friendship within the school community or to raise funds for our school. We have a lot of fun organising the events and even more fun attending them. These occasions are enjoyed by parents from all sections of the school - from Kindergarten to the Sixth Form. The programme includes parties for younger children, car boot sales, a Christmas Fair and a Grand Ball.
Every school has a wish-list of items that cannot always be covered by the budget. In recent years, the Parents' Association has provided minibuses, sound, lighting and also staging for the Hall, as well as smaller items such as trolley buses for Kindergarten and sports equipment.
Who can join?
All parents are automatically members of the Parents' Association. We also welcome help from any former pupils and friends who enjoy assisting us at the various events. Everyone is welcome to attend our social events and we welcome new members in a variety of roles:
• People who would like to attend our monthly meetings
• People who have great new ideas and suggestions but are too busy to attend meetings
• People who want to help on certain occasions
• People who want to be involved but are restrained by other commitments.
The Association helps to engender a wonderful sense of belonging which strengthens bonds within the school community.
