Over 30 students in six groups completed expedition training for the Silver and Gold Awards in the Yorkshire Dales at the beginning of April.

The KEQMS Annual Hockey & Netball Presentation Evening proved to be the biggest yet with over 200 girls collecting certificates.

KEQMS was well represented in the National Schools Biathlon Championships, held on the 22 February at the University of Bath.

Applications are invited for the following Holiday Club roles.

Deputy Manager – Holiday Club

King Edward VII and Queen Mary School requires a lively and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to help administer and manage Holiday Club. The successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above and have at least one year’s experience in working with children aged between 3 and 11 years olds. They will be expected to approach all aspects of the role with energy and enthusiasm and be able to work effectively both as team member and team leader. In return we offer excellent working conditions, reduced Club rates for the successful candidate’s children, flexible hours and a competitive remuneration package.

Full and part-time staff – Holiday Club

Lively, enthusiastic, flexible and energetic candidates are invited to apply for various full and part-time roles within the KEQMS Holiday Club. Previous experience is preferred but not essential. Reduced rates will apply in the Club for the children of successful candidates.
