Years 12 and 13 Learning Support Curriculum Plan

Overview
The School works on the principle that a 'whole-school' approach is the most appropriate way of providing for students with special educational needs. All Departments accept responsibility, and with the support of the Learning Support Department, make provision for the needs of students with SEN.

In Years 12 & 13 those students in need of extra support will meet regularly with a member of the Learning Support Team to monitor their progress and to provide assistance as and when necessary.

These students will continue to be advised on effective study skills and time management and will also be assessed to determine examination requirements with regard to extra-time and or access arrangements.
