It's a Bug's Life!
At home time on Wednesday, the children found a very unusual creature! We kept it safe overnight and spent the next day investigating our new friend.
First of all we decided on a name for our new friend we all agreed 'Tingy' was an excellent name!
We made a habitat for our creature, writing a list of all the things we needed to make sure Tingy was safe and happy.
We decided Tingy needed leaves, soil, water, a large box, stones and some apple to eat.
We very carefully put Tingy into his new home and he seemed very happy!
In the afternoon, we went to the Library to collect some information books to find out what exactly Tingy was, and used a bug finder to examine Tingy more closely, it was very interesting!
At the end of the day, we found a nice spot outisde for Tingy and waved goodbye.
What an exciting day!
