League matches have started again for our Junior netball and football teams. First off was a trip to fellow Lytham Schools Foundation partner, Lytham C of E to play a fixture that was previously postponed due to bad weather.
The girls were playing ‘High Fives' netball where the rules stipulate that players have to rotate position throughout the game, making it vital to have players who can operate in any part of the court. Both teams showed that they were more than capable with the A team winning 6-2, and the B Team 8-1.
There were plenty of ‘high fives' on the football pitch as both teams scored freely in two convincing wins. The A team were in total control of their game, winning 5-0 despite being without two of their regular players. Kyle Maculay was in fine form scoring a hat-trick, with Oscar O'Neill and Joel Raines adding one each.
The B team were far less selfish, sharing the goals around. Tom Wyatt, Ben Holmes, Hal Morgan-Short and Tom Holmes scoring one each in the 4-0 win.
