As part of our introduction to ‘big school’ the children in Reception took part in a hand washing activity.
We talked about how important it is to wash our hands and what could happen if we didn’t. We also talked about other aspects of personal hygiene, health eating and staying fit.
To begin, we painted our hands to pretend they were really dirty!!!!
We turned the taps on to wet our hands…..
We used the soap dispenser and rubbed our hands together to make lots of bubbles to ‘trap’ the germs……..
We rinsed our hands under the tap………………….
Then we gave them a good dry.
