Pastoral Support

There is a very clear pastoral system and structure to ensure that students receive individual care and attention. The first point of contact is the Form Tutor, who sees the student every day and will deal with routine concerns. Heads of Section and their Assistants work closely with Form Tutors to support the individual student's academic progress, personal development and welfare. Finally, the Director of Pastoral Care, who is the Child Protection Officer, oversees these teams so that there is consistency of approach towards all aspects of pastoral care and pupils' well-being.
