For many adults the mention of school Sports Day can summon up many and varied memories either as a competitor of a parent, watching on with pride. There were certainly many mixed emotions on display at the Infant Sports Day, held in glorious sunshine on Friday.
Considering the very hot conditions the young children were remarkably well behaved, and produced many exiting races, along with many amusing moments. It was certainly a very enjoyable occasion, not only for the children but the watching parents and grandparents as well. Thanks must go to Mrs Storey who has spent weeks helping the children to practice their events, and organising the whole afternoon. The pictures tell their own story.
