A Team - Good play all round in difficult conditions. First goal scored by Carr Hill but KEQMS came round and took the lead which continued throughout the match. Megan Wildish dominated in the centre. Fran Warren and Niamh Hendry worked well together with the scoring and Niamh helped Fran score 7 and 3 herself.

The B did not get off to the best of starts in the match, they were down on a number of goals and were struggling with the weather conditions. They worked hard to claw their way back into the game with some excellent goals by Rachel Gregson and some hard work from Charley Holyoak.King Edward VII & Queen Mary School

Year 10 A team Won 27 - 6

Two impressive wins which keeps both teams on track for the league title!!
The Year 10 welcomed some new faces to the team with Shannah Owen playing her first game of the season and Tara Wilson-Danby back in the squad and they played their part in this excellent performance. The first 5 minutes we were not at our best with a lack of concentration leading to some scrappy play but we soon started to pass the ball more effectively and went into an early lead. Once into our stride St.Bedes could not match our fast, effective play and with good defending by Jemima Diggle and shooting by Rachel Williams we forged ahead to a 16 - 0 lead by the break. A change of personnel after half time did not disrupt our game and we continued to dominate and by the final whistle it was an impressive winning margin 27 - 6.

The Year 9 again started nervously but soon settled into their rhythm and played fast, exciting netball. The shooters took a while to get on target but by the break we had forged into a 10 - 0 lead. After the break we continued to play impressive netball with Captain Emily Grey dominant all around the court and Darley Harrison controlled and effective in defence. Our shooters improved their success rate in the second half and Charlotte Owen was awarded the ‘player of the match' accolade for her hardworking and effective play in the attacking third. A final score of 21 - 1 shows our dominance and keeps us on track for the league title at the end of the season.
